This is an excellent talk that discusses the nature of mental illness in animals, while also empowering owners to take care of their pets!
Look what came in the mail yesterday! Stitch’s new lifejacket and hiking pack. I cannot wait to take her out on some of the beautiful trails here on the island. So last night we walked down to the beach to try out her life jacket, but unfortunately I forgot about the high surf advisory. Poor Stitch was completely consumed by two waves before we could even get deep enough to see if her jacket worked. Better luck next time I guess.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you might have noticed a few adorable furry creatures on my instagram feed. The little beasties are Lilo and Stitch my new puppy and kitten. I adopted them from the Hawaiian Humane Society back in May, just after I arrived on the island. My mother suggested I choose a Hawaiian name, but not knowing too many and considering that Lilo & Stitch is one of my favorite movies and set here in Hawaii, I thought it might work. Stitch of course got her name because of her huge, Rat Terrier ears and poor Lilo is unfortunately a boy. But I think it suites him. They definitely keep my life interesting, especially since Lilo has discovered the top of my kitchen cabinets!
Anywho, I just thought I’d formally introduce all of you to make things less awkward in the future. So the next time you’re feeling down, head over to instagram.com/peterpaulandshona and take in their overwhelming cuteness.
